Help me /fa/. About three years ago I noticed my hairline receding fast and I panicked and buzzed it all off. About six months ago I realized the receding had stopped and thought maybe I'm not going completely bald after all so I stopped cutting it. I hate wearing my hair short, but it's naturally thick, so whenever I grow it out there's always a point where it gets too bushy. In the past when I've tried to ask hairdressers to keep the length and just thin it out they look at me like I'm insane.
