It ain't any hard. I start at number 3-4 and trim from the ankle to the knee. Then number 2 half the way. Then 1-0 on the edge. I just make it as random as possible and I don't double-pass the trimmer. That way some hair remains uncutted and it looks more natural. The key is to make it as less noticeable as possible that I trimmed it.

It takes me, what? 10 minutes every month? Way better than shaving.
