My last pair of boots were $40 Bass and co combat boots and they started falling apart p quick but even so I made them last for a few nyc winters and they lasted and I was warm enough. i was unsure how to at first because they're suede(with some weird kind of finish)
i just got kiwi protect-all spray, it's around $12 here. i was worried it was gonna fuck up the leather at first but it seems to have worked just fine. spray it once, let it dry for a while and then spray it again and it should be all set.

Pretty shitty to be honest (on the outsourced ones I have), but a bit of wear and some polish really freshens it up. It's still pretty durable.

Not as good as I expected, but not horrible. I've heard stories about the sole freezing up in extremely low temperatures though, making it like walking on snow with ice for shoes. But as I said, I only heard that, never experienced it. They're nowhere near as bad as my leather soled shoes or my Adidas Plimcanas.

Let me put it like this: I liked my 1461s so much I got me 1460s and am not disappointed.
