I wanted a original helmet like those old picrelated. And then i remembered Eastern Bloc paratrooper helmets! They are perfect! Ordered one and it just arrived

1950s Eastern Bloc paratrooper helmet!
Brand new old stock, soft velor leather, i love it! Notice the detail, even that white forehead tab thingy on the inside is soft real leather!

No one else has one like this and uses it as bike helmet in North America and probably in the world

I just have to bite the bait. No one uses them as a bike hlemt as they will not protect you the same way in a fall. Bike helmets break to diffuse the impact. This helmet will probably just bend into your skull.

It also looks idiotic buuuuut it would make an amazing hat when driving a cabrio.
