I think you'll find that they're a classic piece m8

What brand makes the best? I've been looking at Fred Perry and vintage Lacoste ones

>> No.8566457

>>8566436
I'd say if you wear them this winter you're gonna look like you've left the jacket in the cupboard for the summer.

I agree, they're classy, but they just got killed with how many people bought brandless/"knock-off" ones.

Yeah fred perry and lacoste vintages are so nice. I'm trying to pick up a nice burberry one, my brother has an absoloutely gorgeous Pretty Green one. The interior design is mint. Can't really go wrong with them to be fair... Just try and wear a nice complimentary shirt with it.

>burberry

Fuck yeah, I'm gonna suss them out now.

What colour do you think? I would usually go black or dark blue, but there is a pretty nice beige one as well. I dress dark mostly but not monochrome meme status blacks just nice

>> No.8566538

>>8566507
i would only go beige if you had some nice shirts to back it up. in my head beige burberry jackets are for fat old skinhead geezers.

the one burberry one i bought (bad purchase, late night, impulse buy with no real reason, EBAY) said it was a large. got it it was like an xl but the label said large so idk about it xD

as i say that is from ebay...

yeah burberry are nice but maybe look at other jacket styles anon. "There's no rush!!!" and always wait a while (if you can) before purchasing something. I've ordered lots of things then when they got through the post not even opened them cos i changed my mind about it.

all the best anon, gudnite

with polos, my rule is always have them all done up.
unless it's baking hot and you're sweating buckets and just wanna cool ofc. but they look smoothasfuck with them done up.

only time i would say 1/2/maybe all undone is if you're wearing them with collars up.

>> No.8566591

>>8566590
what about shirts (obviously without a tie)?

>> No.8566615

>>8566591
IMO all of them done up, in a shirt you feel proud. in a shirt you gonna be feeeeling smart. all of them done up. unless it chokes you which i have with 1 or 2 shirts, other than that all done up.

i would also recommend spending a decent amount of money on a decent shirt. those things last ages and aren't to be worn on day-to-day basis. I Wear T-shirts and polos for casual wear (out or hanging with friends or town) then shirts and my smartest polos at parties and family events/pub.

Obviously! this is my personal preference with my wardrobe and my outfit, so i can't speak for all situations. you'll be fine sticking to all buttons done up all round. just make sure you iron the collars nicely and check them every hour or so when wearing them.

anyone takes the piss cos your buttons are done up just say it looks smarter. cos it does. always ;)

it's not difficult, i'm just blabbering cos i enjoy typing :L

>> No.8566618

>>8566615
OH and make sure you dont hold the iron down long on the collars. the materials already stretched from the fold and they're easy to burn, just a quick run down !!

Got a burberry harrington aswell, mine is burgundy and I love it.

Another brand worth looking into is Baracuta, they still produce in the UK I believe and are about 300? I think.
