It all depends of how quickly your hair greases though, how often you shower etc. If you have very straight/thin hair I wouldn't recommend it, unless you style it backwards.

This was me for a long time, but I always had to wear my hair up because the wind would turn it into some triangular mess. I couldn't step outside without it turning into a frizzy disaster. Part of it was probably because I was balding though. My hair is thinning up front so it took very specific conditions to get it to do the right thing.
