Okay first off you are delusional. I have said this at least this now, the point of socks and sandals is to get the look of sandals while keeping your feet warm from the elements. This was the functional purpose now I will explain the aesthetic purpose because it is definitely more popular, the purpose of socks and sandals speaking purely aesthetically is to give an awkward look yes you will look like a middle aged man that's the point. That look has become very popular recently with the rise of normcore and 90's revival as a whole. When I wear socks and sandals I don't just do it to be like "hey look at me I'm so weird and quirky" I do it because I don't want my feet to get cold but I don't want to wear real shoes so I put on some sandals. Also if I'm getting this right you wouldn't ever wear socks if it's hot, if you do then your being completely hypocritical. I dont really feel like arguing anymore I'm trying to make this board more productive and fashion focused so this isn't helping at all.
