They were pretty big here in the UK from about October to April. But they must have died out pretty quickly, I guess people didn't really have the confidence to wait until it caught on a bit more and wait until others grew them out.

full manbun is still rare since it takes like ten months to grow out and looks shitty for six so most people give up.

i regularly go around Leeds, Halifax, Manchester & Lpool and all ive seen are 60% hys 25% other 10% topknots and 5% manbuns

had my last HY haircut 4 months ago and now i'm growing it out for a legit manbun

i'll probably end up tapping out and buzzing it in a couple of months though

Me, I've been on the shaggy long hair/topknot game since 2008, but lately I've been trying to experiment with what else I can do with it as far as braids and knots go. Much more me learning more than a trend thing, though.
