How much do you feel the need to fit in with your friends style?

Are your clothing choices restricted by how you will appear as a group? Do you tone down what you are wearing so as not to appear as a "tryhard".

Is the group aesthetic something you consider when choosing clothes?

I have a really 'alternative' style of dress and I have noticed that people that wear similar clothes go out of their way to befriend me, I recently made 3 new girl friends that like to dress up cutesy goth and I feel like we are in a gang when I walk around with them, this is me moving from a small country town where I was 'the only goth in the village'
