Does anyone here own the draped tshirt from zara? How is it? Can you post a fit? Any better cheap alternatives?

its just mall-tier avant garde

copped a pair of those tapered cotton trouser sweatpants

fit really well but they just felt lumpy as shit, had loose seams all over them

just not very nice quality what so ever

got some basic tees from them as well. look pretty nice and are really slim fit, but are really thin and feel as though theyre just going to fall apart or rip all over constantly

The shirt is shit. I passed it in the store a couple of times and it looks more like an apron than anything, plus shit materials.

I actually ended up buying the tapered sweat though since I couldn't find a better alternative.

When you shop at Zara just remember the rule, the more sophisticated the construction of the piece, the worse it will be.

tried on the tee once when they dropped their streetgoth trill load, it's literally just a black tee with the front of a tank top sewn on the top with the other strap inverted to give the front flap a little drape

It's still out of some cotton polyester bullshit they use for everything else as opposed to rayon or silky cotton and doesnt look anywhere near what you guys think it'll look like irl

i dont see why youd buy from zara except for some cheap statement pieces. like, you already have a decent wardrobe but you want a thin sweater you can shred or you want a quick cardigan to wear for a season. like if you want a fast piece to change your wardrobe.
even then, i'd just buy secondhand
plus the womens wear is leagues beyond their men's stuff

>> No.8343648

quality is shit, thin as fuck, wears out quickly and rips/shreds easily.

I have a few tees and shirts from zara, and I am not happy with the quality.
The shirts are OK, hot as fuck tho and a bit small in sizing, but the fit is proper compared to most shirts in the same price-class.
The shirts I've bought from zara have been used a few times and that's it.
It's fast fashion mall tier and not for long-term use or for incoorporating into your every-day wardrobe.
4/10 would do again if I need something new for a specific pleb occasion

ive been to the zara in the houston galleria like 20 times and actually all the guys there are pretty cool/nice, one of them even started a convo with me about street fashion and complimented my outfit. The manager guy almost let me return a sweater that i bought months ago cause it shrunk when i finally washed it, but i had cut the barcode tag off thats sown on.
The girls workers there are the snobby ones imo.
The online ordering and shipping are very good though , theyre fast with returns and shipping.

Inditex is the number one fashion retailer in the entire world. Their supply chain is infamous for being able to copy an idea from a runway or look book, have their designers mock up their own version, then have it produced by contract manufacturers and shipped into retail stores within two weeks. By making different designs in limited quantities with high inventory turn over and new products being added two times a week and combining that with no advertising and regular sales, they pull consumers into the retail stores, where they are more likely to purchase something once there. It's their business model not to advertise. And it works very well. The only reason they started having an online catalog and e-commerce is because they absolutely had to.

>> No.8345251

>>8345203

Interesting, also this:

>How about advertising? Basically, Zara doesn't do it. There is no ad budget. Instead, the company spends ungodly amounts of money buying storefronts next to luxury brands to own the label of affordable luxury: "The retail strategy for luxury brands is to try to keep as far away from the likes of Zara. Zara's strategy is to get as close to them as possible."

I have pic related and it's not too bad. I like the raw hem and it fits well. Quality is obviously not great but it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart in my hands or anything.
