Hey /fa/, right now I'm deciding between white Air Force One's or standard black Doc Martens 1460's. I'm looking to wear them as my main shoe for summer and probably the rest of the year as well. I'm worrying that Doc Martens's won't match my mostly black street-wear style. Opinions?
btw I tried both of the shoes in my size today and the Doc's felt way more comfier.

given that you were looking for a casual shoe to be worn all the time, o'd say go with the af1

white shoes really can work with just about everything whereas the 1461s would get you a fair share of >"nice dress shoes anon"

also, I was wondering is Doc 1460's are viable in the summer?
I mean they are rather chunky boots, I would imagine quite lots of feet sweating...
also, could they be pulled off with shorts or smth?

meh, my docs are a fave pair of mine

comfy, quality, and workable into tons of different fit styles

i recently did the whole black shoe polish on the stitching thing as well, which has helped me get back into em and stopped me from buying so many shoes

with the classic docs i find you can't really do as many styles with it, nor are they comfy all year shoes

OP here, are you suggesting lows, because the high's might get too hot in the summer?

the hi-top AF1's def look cooler to me than the lows, I mean the ones I posted in the original picture.
I went to my local Footlocker today as well to try the hi ones. I usually wear 46/45 size, but I had to downsize to 44 with AF1's. hope that this is common and I wasn't imagining things?
