i want to buy some bb cream, because of all the benefits and obviously the cosmetic benefit aswell.

what would be the best one to get? i'm more on the paler side then darker side, i would like to
darken up my face just a tiny bit

dont try and darken your face with cosmetic products you will look silly and people will notice, go to a tanning salon if you care that much

Also google will help more than /fa/ when it comes to finding a good bb cream thats best for you in terms of what you need, price etc etc

what this guy said, don't darken your face

If you're going to use cosmetics, you should use cc cream or at the very least, tinted moisturiser to achieve a smooth tone look. Kate Somerville makes a good cc cream with different shades available - just dont go dark, stick to your natural tone

I use that same one op -- albeit my shade is one lighter I believe

it's noticeable if you don't exfoliate so if you have shitty skin don't bother

bb cream is literally just tinted moisturizer

If you wanna darken your face, just darken your contour more. idk. Like for me for an example, i'm always in the fair-light colors in BB cream but im not really like, light light, idk, but it looks good on my face, matches my neck and chest, but i still look pretty pale and colorless so i just darken up my contour more and use a darker powder to set my make up.

I hope that made sense.

I've tried Maynelline, Smashbox, Nars, and that skin food thingy.

I use to use the dream fresh one like it was my hg thingy but then I started to use Nars Tinted moisturizer and shits the bomb. I just worked at a food fest thingy for 3 days morning to night and my face is still covered, i have some blemishes showing but that's cause i rub my face a lot.

Idk what else to say. I'm so tired. but if you want to darken your face, use a darker contour shade.

for those who know nothing about cosmetics

bb Creams haven't done anything to improve my skin. And I use the legit Asian ones.

but I do like them for providing coverage between a tinted Moisturizer and a liquid foundation,

most western bb creams are just tinted moisturizers as others mentioned, no cosmetic benefits or shit like that

stay away from drugstore brands unless you're very good at applying makeup and making it look good, try chanel

also, go with your actual shade, if you go darker the shade difference with the rest of you will look funny and it will be obvious that you're wearing makeup, better go to a tanning salon as others suggested

it's oily because it has sunscreen in it. if you're after a drugstore brand bb cream, get one without any spf

if you tell us more about your face situation, better help will be offered.

my advice would be to work more on really improving the skin, and dont just think that bb cream is a magical product that deliver all the solutions it says it will. i have a drugstore brand of bb cream with spf which i only use when i need sun protection. its very oily but i use a matte powder, however this can look cakey and i just dont feel comfortable with that on my face. i recommend lush cosmetics or the body shop or any place that makes their products as natural as possible. check out jackie oates by lush which you can order online.
