Ok, this is the 4th or 5th time i've seen this, If you don't want it to "blow out" then get mouse and apply it when it's wet. This will keep your hair styled pretty much anyway you want. It Will stay flat if you want it to, it will stay up if you want it to.

Still way better than before. Now it needs product in it when it's dry to bring out the hair quality and keep it neat and in place. Like I said before go shorter on the sides, I go 0.5 and it's exactly like the OP picture. Trial and error with products to use, that's what I did and you'll eventually find one that works. Bed Head paste is best for me and sometimes American Crew pomade.
