Anyone on /fa/ have a decent DIY guide for distressing jeans?

Just looking to do some knee/thigh rips with some fraying really.

I've heard sliding on concrete while wearing knee pads words and so does sandpaper.

Make horizontal cuts with a fresh razor blade about an inch or two apart. Pull the vertical threads out with tweezers or fingers. Put through a short wash cycle. Presto.

Or tie the leg holes shut and fill the jeans full of gravel. Close the waist, tie the jeans to a short length of rope and drag them around rough terrain for pic related. Dragging with a bicycle or car will speed things along.
