Will running make my legs smaller past this or do I have to go starvation mode? New pants are uhh... quite snug in the thighs as you can tell, and I've never tried to lose weight before.

>> No.8251783

>>8251767
swimming will help you lose weight and not have giant bulky thighs (not saying u do, yours aren't that big tbh)
its a toning excersise rather than a building thing

>> No.8251811

>>8251464
that depends highly on your definition of cheap. i'd say j. crew is the cheapest you'll want to go if you wear a suit for work or really any more often than once a month, because it's worth the investment, but if you're just buying it for a certain occasion and it'll only leave your closet for funerals, i think there's some generic sounding website people use called like suits4less or some shit but i forget the exact name
>>8251702
you wear them with a fit that's dark enough to contrast the color and techwear enough to compliment the athletic silhouette. do not try this if your wardrobe is shitty
>>8251767
your thighs/legs are a perfectly acceptable size for 9/10 pairs of pants, but that fit is a little too tight. the easiest solution would just be return them but if you're determined to have rail-thin legs then just combine skeletonmode starvation with swimming, like anon said. i think running adds muscle mass to your thighs rather than cutting them. runners are stereotyped as having big thighs, but then again i knew a dude who did cross-country and had tiny legs so it might not be an awful idea if you're jogging lightly

What >>8258149 said is good, but be careful when wearing Zara or H&M, it's easy to go overboard on a piece(in the look sense, not the monetary sense) and then it doesn't fit with the rest of your wardrobe that well.
I know this firsthand because I bought a 20€ hoodie at Zara that I really liked in store and fit me great, but doesn't go that well with what I usually wear.
This leads to me only seldom wearing it, because I have to get out of my comfort zone when wearing it and I only do so when I'm pretty sure I won't run into anyone I know.

You will not like it, but here's what you have to do.

You have to eat more.

Yes, your calorie intake is too low right now and your body is in costant "almost-starving" mode, so it tries to make as much backup fat as possible.

You need to find out a right daily calorie dose for you (use an online calculator, there's shitton of them).

Start eating more meals per day. You propably had 1 or 2 big-ass, calorie-rich meals per day and a lot of small snacks inbetween. This is the worst shit you can do to your body. (cont)

>> No.8258498

>>8258482
4 or 5 well-balanced, protein-rich meals are a must.

Also, you need to start lifting weights. This way, all that nutrition will have a way to "leave" you, through heat and muscle buildup.

Keep your cardio at a rational level, do not overtrain yourself with it.

It will take you propably like few months to notice the difference. This long it takes your organism to "switch" from starvation mode to a normal mode. You will also gain a bit of musculature, which is always good. With bigger muscles and good eating habits, your body will finally start burning that extra fat tissue around your belly.

>> No.8258509

>>8258482
>Start eating more meals per day. You propably had 1 or 2 big-ass, calorie-rich meals per day and a lot of small snacks inbetween. This is the worst shit you can do to your body.

Additional tips:

- try to avoid sweet snack at all costs. If you really crave for a snack inbetween meals, go for some carrots or other veggies

- drink a lot of water, avoid sodas and beer (high ammound of sugar and CO2 in them)

- avoiding alcohol and weed will help you with your goal

A basic gym equipment to put in your room/basement will cost you around an equivalent of a half year gym membership. You can consider lifting in your home, if you feel like you can keep up with your goal for a long time.

You're welcome. Just don't overtrain yourself. It's a beginner's trap to think "hey, this is too easy, i can lift twice as much as they say in the chart". If you'll be consistent and do honest workouts, you will fill sore after time, but you will also gain muscle, which is a decent reward in my opinion.

Remember, combine good nutrition with lifting - one will not work out without another.

And lastly - we'll all make it, brah. Good luck!

pretty much the way you'd pull off anything bright and colorful, keep the colors in the rest of the fit muted. that's not to say you should necessarily be dressed in all black and white except for one floral print item (although you could probably do that if you're too lazy to put thought into it) but it can't hurt to incorporate a complimentary color or two somewhere, ideally something muted in your shoes or whatever

Some of you(>>8258568) seem to know your stuff and I don't really like going on /fit/, so I'll ask here.
How about me?
I'm someone who used to be obese. I lost about 25 KG in a year without exercising and now I'm seing that I'll eventually be entering skinnyfat mode if I keep losing weight without doing almost any exercise at all.
My BMI is around 23 (it used to be 32).

I don't want to go into skeleton mode, but I do want to get to about 12~15% body fat.
Is exercise and good nutrition needed? Or can I simply keep eating as I have been (calorie deficit only, no worries about being healthy etc.)?

I'm that advice guy, and i can tell you that 80% of the work is done in the kitchen. Proper diet is really important and should be a base for your goals.

If you don't want to build muscle and you want to keep weight, just eat healthy and do not go to the gym. (does not include skinnyfat people).

Use an online calculator and find out, how much you need to eat.

>>8258689
I'll be honest with you, if you just do Joe Weider's charts, you will not look like Zyzz, you will achieve ottermode at best (with good workouts and proper diet).

To get that big, bulky muscle, you'd have to use different trainings, diet supplements and years of hard work.

Seriously, you will look much better in your fits. An ottermode guy looks the same as a skinny person while being clothed, but once the t-shirt is off, guess who gets the mirin'.

>> No.8258715

>>8258689
trust me dude, build muscle now, while you still got some mass. it will be hell if you enter skinnyfat mode and you will be stuck with eternal dilemma - do I eat more and look more like a skinnyfat pig but also gain muscle, or I eat less and look more like an auschwitz new kid, who is already skeleton but still got some fat. that's why fatfucks I believe are in better position than skinnyfats.

>>8258715

>it doesn't look like it takes that much work exercise-wise

The guy has much lower %BF than you're aiming for (12-15%) and that's why his six-pack is so visible (and is propably photoshopped).

>> No.8258811

I just tried it on with a basic blue patterned button up and I felt that it looked awkward, but maybe I'm just not used to it.

I'm thinking solid patterns, colors, and tees, but that may just be some Rick Owens indoctrination.

Which to cop? C/n thread isn't doing well.

The one on the right is cheaper but I've never heard of the brand before, didn't appear once on warosu and their site and everything is kinda unofficial looking.

Would pair either of them with cropped pants, materials are on the pic.
