It's an Eau de Parfum in contrast to something like Blue de Chanel which is an Eau de Toilette - and less concentrated. Just be cautious with applying the scent and it shouldn't matter.

Personally i'm quite fond of it. The combination between Leather and Wood notes with a more flowery Jasmine and fruit (raspberry?) makes it a strong spring/summer scents without resorting to the classic alcoholic fresh lemon and flowers. It's quite distinct.

It's more of a bonus than anything. Sure, washing your clothes and basic hygiene will make you smell nice, but it won't leave behind a strong, unique impression like a good cologne will. After wearing a cologne for a while you'll find that women that you have sexual encounters with mentioning "your smell" and how much they like it. But compared to CdG 2 Man is it worth it, or what do you think of the comparison in general?

>> No.8232114

>>8232102

Well, you're kind of going for different things. They're both pushing that modern, unisex thing, but CdG scents have a deliberately kind of weird element to them. They're never afraid of the obviously synthetic notes and they often play them up to great effect. In comparison, Le Labo is about kind of taking this stripped down approach to vetiver. CdG Man 2 is probably a touch more complex, but the Vetiver 46 has it beat in terms of longevity, as I mentioned. Man 2 is more about the aggressive vetiver element while Vetiver 46 tries to round it out with other woody, slightly sweet notes to make the vetiver smoother.

You just gotta decide which approach suits you and your skin better and probably take into account the Le Labo's significant expense compared to the CdG.

What are some of best summer fragrances? I'm willing to pay anything and also try and some niche shit.

I have no summer fragrances and wearing musky, oriental, spices stuff doesn't work when it's 100 degrees.
