It's more that it's less noticeable when it's short. And short hair is more easily managed, so a quick shampoo once in a while with 3 inch hair is fine, but trying that with half a foot of hair is a fucking disaster.

i have very thick wavy/curly hair. not too big, about 5 inch on sides and back, 7 inches on top.

I comb it, put some oil in, and comb throughout the day. I also put my hair in an alice band for a few minutes to keep shape.

It becomes thin although I haven't done anything dangerous to thin the hair like straighten it (which can burn hair).

olive oil is very strong. no smell.
