no, plain black jeans are almost always better. depending on your build, get something like levis 510s if you are looking for cheap entry level black jeans

>> No.8203665

>People pay 600NZD for straight fit, disgusting, plain blue coloured True Religion jeans
I weep every time someone even considers these

Will probably go for a pair of levis as they're fairly cheap might also get a pair of diesel jeans

>> No.8203690

>>8203687
nothing inherently wrong with them, but you can probably get something nicer in that price bracket.

it would help if you posted a photo of your legs or even entire body so we could identify the correct jeans for your figure.

dont get diesel, it's up there with True Religion.

no worries dude. which ones in particular you considering?
a darker wash or even black tends to be more fashionable though.

thighs are fairly large calves aren't to bad
not built for skinny jeans.
I'm thinking tapered might be the way to go

>> No.8203695

I've got a pair of levis currently but they've got that stand out stiching don't own many pairs of jeans so really need to expand
I'm also drawn towards expensive brands as i've only recently just started getting money

start off easy fella. whilst you might be eager to spend that money, and getting a pair of nice jeans is a good investment, it's best to do your research and find a nice pair of jeans when you are more comfortable with your style. the same goes for the rest of your wardrobe.
>>8203698
keep it mind that the Five Dry Blacks are raw jeans,so they will fade and require treatment differently to the rest of your wardrobe. some people do not wash raw jeans for up to 6 months or even a year sometimes to get high contrast fades.

>> No.8203726

>>8203719
Thanks for the info, i'll need to do some reading about fading only just read briefly about it in the sticky
Thanks for all the replies guys, appreciate it
I've got to go now but will be back lurking tonight

also this is probably a decent option for you if you insist on going the CM route

I couldn't encourage you highly enough to find a stockist near you and try the pair on. You don't have to feel obligated to buy, just get an understanding of how it looks on you. You can even use the change room mirrors to take a picture on your phone and ask /fa/'s opinion on the fit when you get home, bearing in mind all jeans stretch slightly with wear. Find a cheaper price online and then cop that way.
