Daou's got great taste and a lot of $$$, but somehow he still manages to look like a cosplayer. On the other hand, the only other people I've seen try that aesthetic are the SZ crew, and they look pretty fucking special needs. The quality of the intellectual discussion surrounding that sort of cutting-edge avante-garde always seems a lot higher than /fa/, mf, even care-tags, but the stuff looks really stupid when it's all put together. I guess the lesson is to focus on incorporating one or two avante-garde pieces that can stand out against quieter parts of an outfit, or you'll look like a Final Fantasy character.

The thing is proportions and silhouette are key aspects of an actual fit, so fatness does matter. Not saying fat people can't be fashionable, but rather this specific look isn't good on him (look at that gut...)
