These things are MAGIC. It's a little block of white stuff that you get wet and then rub with. Seems rudimentary but they are amazing at cleaning vulcanized soles/kitchen floors/anything hard with stains on it. People always equate Vans with children, but I really feel like Converse truly deserve that negative association. At least the Vans have the Sk8 Hi models which are tolerable. About the sizing: initially I got a 42 (I wear 42 DrM, Vans), but it was hurting my feet, so I changed with a 43. I would definitely size up.

I've been to local boutique two weeks ago and tried those (unfortunately there was only 41). I am 8.5 US in Vans which is exactly TTS (26.5 cm, those are me feet), and I know that I should size down in CPs (to 40). The same day I've been to that boutique, I could not figure my size in CPs, 41 was too big, 40 was rather small, but not in all models (I even wrote a story, if interested in all that shit, search catalog for "This is awful I don't even" in subject field).

tl;dr: 41 is my TTS, and Silas 41 were a bit loose, however I did not have option to try 40.
But size up sounds like total bullshit.
