Personally, I think the shorts are a bit too wide to be wear with those sandals. A more typical relaxed fit might work better (think SILENT DD type shorts). Not really feeling the outerwear too much with it either.

Cool, avoid takeshita (that's a real name) at all costs, it's just super crowded and nigerians try to get you to come into their shitty shops. most of the stores are crap anyway. But if you go past takeshita and across the road, there are some good stores in the little streets around there. It pays to do a bit of exploring around that whole area in Jingumae and around Omotesando. Deffs check out the second hand stores too. There's massive shops with CdG, Ann, Visvim etc. for decent prices in pretty good condition
