what do you mean by that? if you're after the most classic ones, those are the highs, but at first in 1982 those were the combination of leather and mesh and had grey swoosh and outsole, that's the real OG
the lows and the mids started to be manufactured only after the re-release in 1986

Mids are better IMO, but lows look better with shorts.

just go to finish line or look on ebay, they are easy to find. the ones that are hard to find have the icy/trans outsole with patent leather swoosh and pebbled leather.. all whites are everywhere. footlocker should be continuously restocking at least until the end of summer

i'm the faggot with the white/grey highs that have the 3m detailing on them, i got them for their similarities to the og pairs.. i was tempted to order some mesh/grey very OG ones from nikeid but i didn't feel the extra price was worth it and i like the appearance of the perforated toebox

i'm not entirely sure how accurate your history was. i know mids weren't introduced until the 90s when the shoe became popular again. it comes in and out of style pretty much once a decade. the lows were introduced in the 80s, but i don't know how early.. i believe that when they were primarily used as basketball shoes the lows were player-requested

would AF1 lows look good w/ shorts if I have chicken legs? they'll probably look clown shoes I think

i like them a lot. i'm gonna get cps this summer and it makes the choice fucking hard. it would make more sense to get achilles low because i have af1 highs, but why should my pleb shoes influence my choice of nice shoe?

though i think i will ultimately go with the achilles because it is more understated and versatile
