To me, "smart casual" equals "business casual".

I just wear a pair of dress pants, khaki or gray colored, along with a dress shirt and blazer. I would also wear a fedora and hold a glass of scotch because fedoras and scotch are classy. At work, you should talk about jazz music with your coworkers because that is what classy gentleman do. A gentleman is always on time, too. So you should wear a watch.

no. OCBD can refer to a button down shirt made from Oxford weaved cloth. Though in culture and on the internet it has been associated with the button down collar automatically. Which is actually called the "polo collar". I think the Of Rogues & Gentlemen has an entry on this :)

Look for "Lauren Ralph Lauren" (I think this is RL's dep't store label) wool pants.

They go for cheap at outlets and can be tailored to a slim fit. A lot of them are made of high quality that would surprise you.
