I have thick, dry and curly hair so it's impossible to do anything /fa/ with it, but I one day want to achieve the texture of Knoch's glorious locks.

I've heard that coconut oil can help straighten hair, and if that doesn't work I'm considering going to get it chemically relaxed, but I've heard that can be damaging so I want to know about all the possible alternatives first.

Hair's getting to that stage where I need a cut, suggestions would be appreciated. Also finally deciding whether to be clean-shaven forever or not.

Forgot to shave cheek in left pic and eyebrows are outta control but you get the idea. Hate to seem attention-seeking but I do genuinely value the opinions I get from here.

Everyones different man. I have no doubt that no poo works for a lot who try it, but more often than not its probably not going to work with your hair.

I would get a dry and flaky scalp when I used to wet my hair without actually washing it. If your hair gets too wet it encourages fungal growth that causes dryness and flakiness. For me, no poo was never an option. it took me 22 years to work out a good routine for my hair (washing it properly once a week (and even less in winter). + only getting it wet when I am washing it. also an occasional wash with an anti fungal shampoo helped a lot at the start after I got off nopoo.

no not at all, that shit is disgusting. i get dandruff if i don't scrub enough in the shower, which seems paradoxical (since common sense says scrubbing your scalp too much would make small flakes fall off)

i scrub my hair in the shower and then comb through it with a fine tooth comb. style it with a blowdryer and finish with cold air. it's a sort of mix between a HY and a mohawk (similar to >>8132744 but the back is substantially longer) and it is extremely soft, produces no flakes, and bitches love it. i used to not like telling people that i did no-poo since they would assume it was gross.. but now i have found that if i tell a single bitch and make her feel it, she will call her friends from nearby to feel it too, and then i have a bunch of bitches touching my head and complimenting my hair. its awesome
