uh because of the high compression ratio. I'd turbo it if I had the money to completely rebuild the bottom end for a turbo. My engine has an 11.5:1 compression ratio and turbos need like 9.0:1.

If I really wanted to I could probably stuff 5-7 PSI but I wouldn't get any real boost unless I also put in low-compression pistons to lower the AKI.

With the engine alone I get the Toyota equivalent of VTEC but actually meant for power, not economy.

Turbos aren't everything.
