Are Doc Marten shoes worth buying? I used to wear them as a kid and they lasted forever and looked good until I grew out of them. But I've heard that DMs are now made in China and start falling apart quickly. Is that true?

oh god they're so comfortable. i actually got alpaca wool insoles because my old ones where almost worn through. and jeez, they're amazing with them. also wool is naturally anti-bacterial so i can wear them for a 15 mile walk and they won't even be smelly!

You get the same materials, the same manufactoring and the same quality standards as those made in the UK, which only have different, vintage-ish colours.
I can't really think of more valuable for money boots.
