Exactly this, but AF1's are built well enough that you can thrash them without worrying about them falling apart. In my case, my dad left them outside for like a year. I know they got rained on and maybe pissed on by my dog? That probably helped If pee contributes to yellowing.

very new currently.. i plan on yellowing them by playing basketball in them this summer. wearing them in the sun and getting them hot helps increase the oxidation reaction or whatever that turns the soles yellow

i am not an af1 expert but i believe that the toe-swoosh is just an indicator that they are a pair from the 'better' years of af1s, which for the mids was the late 90s IIRC. i think people said that quality fell off in 2003

they aren't necessarily valuable, just a good pair of af1s in decent condition
