Yeah I agree. Those were just some five-year-old mall-tier hiking shoes. I didn't have my boots with me at the time. I usually wear pic related and some puttees with those pants. Might take a picture soon and post it here if you like.

i think so. wed have to see. if you already got it might as well try. to me, it puts off a kind of russian feel. i definitely think you shouldn't be afraid to incorporate some military stuff, though i know you said you didnt want to.

In some extent it's ok but to wear a complete uniform is a bit too much. Few articles of military surplus is fine but in my opinion you have to balance that with something.
