I was a skinhead in the early aughts. We mostly wore Grinders, but Docs were popular. They were a punk rocker/skinhead thing long before people outside the subculture started getting into them - that doesn't mean your average joe who likes the way Docs look is a Nazi though, what a retarded idea.

Anyway, you want real comfort and walkability? Buy a pair of Grinders. Plus, no hideous beige sole. Mine are nearly 20 years old and still look and feel good as new. Used them as winter boots every year since I stopped doing the skin/punk thing. Great boots, super well-made.
