it's not that it didn't fit, I just didn't like the way it fits. Stutterheim are long, very tight in the chest and extremely loose in waist. Makes for a really weird silhouette if your not tall enough. Someone over 6'2 or even a little on the heavy side could easily pull this off.

Many people look for different qualities in a garment

some people like rick owens because hes a big name and they want to fit in with high fashion folks and will drop big bucks to do so, so in a way yes the name is worth something.

others with a little more sense and experience appreciate rick stuff for what it's worth. it's difficult to find things in a similar cut, fabric, or feel to something like this tee without getting up there in price.

This specific shirt is designed as an undershirt to layer underneath other clothes, and it meets this function well. It's cut close and tight to the body with an elongated hem for the long rick silhouette. extended sleeves give you a gloved look and look fantastic underneath long sleeved jackets. and of course the fabric is a cotton/silk blend that is wonderfully soft and comfortable while degenerating and fraying in signature rick style.

I could go on and on like this but it would probably bore you, and that pretty much covers it. these things considered, I feel that $110 is a very fair price for this specific piece and the value i hold it at within my mind.

But I do care to owe you the respect of an explanation. Reading the fuuka archive, yes I did take the business as a creative AND financial hobby. The post was right, and I do share that I did capitalize to support the hobby.

At the same, a lot of my past buyers can attest to this. I went the extra miles. Easy negotiation and deeply discounted final invoices. I helped proxy items from Japan, email alert when a certain item showed up. Even took a deposit to buy for them, to be consolidated with more items into a bigger sale and box. If prompted, I offered simple, affordable souvenirs froms Hawaii, optional mutual gratuities shared! I've gone as far as send a free Raf Simons original shoe boxes to one in need.

The scam? I've explain on a need to know basis. One man did not respect trade terms after agreement, and went as far as cheating less mid way. I did not take kindly to the disrepect and served just desserts.

At the same time for credibility sake a few months back I did share a extensive history and post office receipts. Of sales successfully shared post Sufu blacklist.

I simply value respect and time. I'm man not scum, just like any man. I did personally like your well composed fits and discussion, and I guess it's a shame that I did not contribute much other than sales in the past year.

let's look at this from the example of a real life auction
imagine that there's a bidding war over a first edition of a particular book between three people: yourself, another big fan of the author, or a dealer in rare books
now obviously it would upset you either way to lose because you didn't get the book
but if the other collector got it at least it goes to a good home in a sense, because it's someone with a real passion for the author's work and probably gets immense personal satisfaction from owning and reading it
if the dealer gets the book, he's only looking at it's value, and will turn around and sell it. not only do you not get the book, you are losing out on getting the book because someone else's financial gain is being made off the fact that you didn't get it and that people like you, who are actually passionate about the author's work, exist to buy the book

look, i'm not against the buying and selling of clothing in general, and i think it can be good to find people selling shit at way less than they bought it at. but at least the majority of the time it's something they've actually worn and liked and the purchase was an end in itself, because they like the items, rather than simply a means in which to make more money
