It's true. And of course I had socks on.

Are you wearing your shoes two sizes too small or something?
Or was there an imperfection in the sock that caused extra pressure?

I'm legit concerned for you now, this has never happened to me

No, if anything they're maybe half a size too big. There's this piece of leather at the heel to give support, it's very stiff. I'm hoping the problem will go away as it gets softer.

Ordinarily I would say, go for better quality shoes, but...

>> No.7978879

>>7978865
Huh, that might be what's causing it then - if it's slightly too big your foot might be moving/rubbing more than it should.
Lacing the bottom more tightly can help keep your foot in position though!

If your shoes ride up and down on your heel when you walk then they don't fit you.

Had the same thing, took about 2 weeks of non-stop wear (with those gell blister bandaids.) for them to broken in properly, and it to go away.

Still not the most comfortable shoe out there.

if they are uncomfortable just throw them away and get new pair
do not baby them

happens to me too bro, don't worry about it, after a few more wears it'll be fine, but still a bandaid or two over it for extra cushioning while wearing. I just copped a pair of mid cps that I knew were gonna do the same thing to my lower achilles so I stuck on 2 bandaids for extra cushion under my socks and I was all good

All Rick shoes (and many others) have leather inner heel counters like that. You might just want to buy a thicker sock. I have pretty sensitive skin and never experienced blistering of that severity. Remember the wicking away moisture is an important part.
