I'm kind of up in the air about them. They really are great looking shoes, but I think that working them into a fit without building the entire fit around them would be difficult just because their aesthetic seems to fit into a niche between goof and tech wear which not a lot of other clothing does.

I feel kind of the same way about the rafdidas, except that they don't so much have a niche aesthetic as each shoe style/colorway seems to require either a fit color-coordinated around the shoe or an entirely black/white, simplistic fit, both of which I'm not really a fan of. They're some of the most interesting looking shoes I've ever seen, but they just don't seem wearable at all, and if they were, it would be with the fit being centered entirely around the shoe.

I was talking with someone from a store that sold them and that's what he basically said. He said to make the shoe a centrepiece of the outfit.

If you haven't seen and held this shoe in person, I absolutely suggest you do. I didn't like it at first but when I saw it in person I quite liked it.

i for sure wouldn't cop the big sole derbies though.. theyre made by fucking generic man and the sole is sooooooo porous and flimsy they look awful after even a week of wear and the sole gets run down super quick.

The Filling Pieces were a Fieg collab, I liked them. Filling Pieces sneakers are essentially Common Projects with more interesting silhouettes and lower price points. Great leather though.
