ok here's what you need to do

1. take 100 of your 200 that you were prepared to spend and give it to your mother as an early birthday present

2. cop pic related, I have it, works with any outfit, cost me 35GBP from nike.com and the materials are great and its durable and not weak like other backpacks I've had, plus its extra comfy because the straps are padded and the size is really good plus its got a laptop compartment that works for my 15.4" laptop and this is one of the few things I've ever bought that I've no regrets about

also, there's a cooler leathery-looking shiny one I think that's from the NSW range, but mine (pic related) is the NIKE Cheyenne Classic 2000. also, it's darker than in pic

try some of the others' suggestions, me personally, I don't mind the branding, the more tech and expensive version which costs too much for me but still probs <200USD has less obvious branding as its all black including logo

if it really matters then consider asking a tailor to do the job properly, if you prefer it in the long run then it will be worth it, especially because I don't think it'll cost too much, but I'd ring them up and ask first... on this model the seam is clearly visible which should make it a lot cleaner to remove I assume, but I've never done it so I couldn't really say
