That in person, when integrated well in a look on a non-manlet, the toebox is only slightly disruptive. Handle a pair and you will see, they are extremely easy to pull off and add really subtle elements to a person's silhouette that can tie together an outfit.

I am a manlet and on top of that my torso is short, proportionally. Plus I have larger hips that my pants tend to hug. As such, I usually wear pants a little lower, though I never buy anything "low rise"
