I have a 30 inch waist and I'm 6'1. I try to keep a slim silhouette as I'm slim myself. If I buy 511's my butt crack is always hanging out a little bit unless I'm standing upright.

people don't wash their jeans to get higher contrasting fades in the area with the most creases (stacks, combs, whiskers) going awhile without washing loosens the indigo in these areas so the color lifts easier than the rest of the pant.

washing them like normal gives you "vintage" fades.

both look fine, but you can't prevent loss of color it's just a part of wearing jeans.
