Is there a difference between leggings and yoga pants? I feel like what we mostly think of as yoga pants are more accurately leggings. Or are they a combination, that is, yoga leggings?

Yoga pants are thicker and flare out at the bottom. Leggings are more or less skintight and dont flare out.

Most girls you see around college aren't wearing yoga pants per se, they are wearing leggings which also serve as yoga pants. Look at pic related, its basically that. Most people call them yoga pants but they are more aptly called "yoga leggings". Because normal leggings are much more see-through

There are many cuts of yoga pants. The only thing that really makes a yoga pant a yoga pant is if the fabric allows you to move into various yoga poses.
