been trying to do the pompadour hairstyle now, but cant figure out how to get that 'bump' at the front. I have my hair cut in the fashion seen in the picture.

any tips?

You have to blow dry it to get a proper pomp. Use a real pomade, not American Crew garbage, and take your time with a lite spray on the sides.

I usually wash my hair twice a week, and then towel dry it. I comb it back while damp and add a bit of the paraffin wax as I go, while slowly drying it and combing it back as I go. When most of the moisture is gone I apply a bit of medium hold spray on the sides and shape it with my hands. As it dries, i run a comb through it and continue adding paraffin as I go. It takes work, but it looks good if you keep working on it. Expect to put about 10-15 minutes of work into it every morning.
