I'm going to a career fair this week and will be interviewing with a few businesses. I'm in the tech field and am seeking start-up type companies with flat organizational structures, creative and modern views, and more casual dress codes. Previously I wore a (old and loose-fitting) suit to these, but I'm thinking I should be dressing more towards my target employer.

Something fishy going on here and I can't place my fingers on it.
Pants MIGHT be a bit tight but that also might just be a more modern fit.
The top though...something is wrong. Collar is fucked. Button it all the way, unless its a button down. Which if it is, ditch the tie.
Cardigan is a little tight in your middle section. Not in a "you are fat way." More like a "it looks uncomfortable and unnatural" way."
As I've said, the tie and that shirt aren't working together.
The coat is alright though. Works with the business casual look you have going on

Quite frankly, I think if you have a sweater, you should switch out the cardigan for the sweater.
Cardigans are a little more on the "casual" side of business casual, whereas sweaters are a little more on the formal side of business casual. (If that makes sense.)

Boots don't work here. The browns clash and the the way they fall over the boot here is really sloppy.

I'd suggest a different pant instead. Perhaps a chino then the boots. Or even cuffing. Something to break the awkward looking pant to boot.

Sweater is a bit tight revealing some of the more unflattering parts of your body. I'd suggest something darker to help with slimming or weight loss. The sleeves and length are good, though.
