what's your favourite summer footwear?

I'd really like some prada creepers for the office but that's unrealistic

I've been thinking about getting some Inneva wovens or mayflys or lunar flynit chukkas

Post your favourite summer cops so other poor people and I can start saving

And this is already to the end of what's really appropriate for summer wear I guess.

A few quick and basic ideas for summer though;
- Linen and seersucker materials are lightweight go-to's, linen especially. I find a lot of striped seersucker looks far too prep for my tastes, but solid colours can look really nice and casual, and are super breathable.
- linen knits are an option, especially in wider gauges. Though I wouldn't wear these, unless we're talking thin tee knits, if it was above say, 85F
- I'm thinking sweatshorts personally, Norse Projects RO shorts for myself specifically
- This is the year of the sandal (birks and shakas here I come)

Go for quality pieces, you're going to have to go pretty minimal in actual heat, so make what you wear count.

/fa/ it's not spring in the UK yet but should be in a month or a few.

Problem is, I go for streetwear with a mix of gothninja in monochrome.
How the fuck will I cope? I need to layer.

I don't usually wear shorts and seriously hate them, so maybe shorts on leggings might be okay?
If I wore leggings where I am I'd be taken the piss out of, but it's better than showing my legs (I can't stand showing legs).

Uniqlo has good entry-tier ones, might also be able to find some decent cheaper ones with J.Crew, Land's End (Decent quality, awful fits - usually requires a tailor if you're not huge), and Ralph Lauren and Apolis global in the medium range. Geller and Ervell have high quality linen shirting, Folk should too. Alexander Wang will have some decent linen tee options. A lot of Japanese brands will have a more interestingly designed linen shirts this season in my opinion, check out Trove of course, but also Nonnative, Kapital, and Flistfia.

>one quite long solid colour tee.

I can't bring myself to wearing shorts, my legs are pretty damn skinny and I just find legs to be ugly in general.
I'm pale af and hate bare flesh showing.

Also hoodie around waist just because it's the UK, weather is strange and it makes the fit less basic I guess.

It's really hard to say, most of these things are named by the brand and because they're more experimental designs that move outside standard concepts, it's often hard to classify them with standard garment names.
