I do some drawings based on fashion items or runway looks I like, but I don't think I have what it takes to be an actual designer. I have creativity but I only like what I like, no way I could make something that would appeal to a lot of people and I wouldn't want to force myself to do that.

Fear and despair. Almost all characters are me in some way. It's hard to say it in english for me, sry. I've started drawing in that way in school when I just didn't know what to do with my life. Drawing was some sort of sublimation. I used to come home in the evenings and just cried and whined.

1. Sketch a lot. I mean, whenever you are bored, don't play games on your smart phone, sketch. Whenever you see something interesting, take your time and draw it.

2. Stay away from anime. Don't draw anime figures, don't copy any styles. Draw what you see.

3. Try different pens.

4. Concentrate on reproducing shapes, the general idea of something. It's not about the details and the shading, that's actually the easiest part when the frame is done.

5. You will run into certain body parts that you'll have problems with. For most those are hands and faces. Don't run away from them, draw them over and over until you love to draw them.

Just my experience.

Wrong notes are not the main thing to spoil the performance. Nobody is 100% safe from accidentally pressing the wrong key or valve. Of course, the main thing is the soul of your piece, or however you wanna call it (yes, this is metaphysics created from combining of all aspects of playing, including technique).
But if the thing you have most problems with is rhythm, and we're not talking about "soul" yet, it is not the hardest thing to solve.
Keep playing in the slowest tempo possible for not ruining the movement of piece (as one conductor said, try to find fast things in slow pieces, and on the opposite, slow things in fast pieces) until you reach perfection. But your reward would not be playing the piece in fast (actual tempo) then, you should do it later, after some time playing right in slow tempo. Also, you may use metronome, however, some musician do not recommend it (and I can agree with them particularly, read next).
You may keep practicing without the instrument, even clapping proper rhythm in slow tempo with sounding downbeats (which trains your personal inner metronome) with your voice helps. Take this.

No, I was saying rhythm is what I'm the most stable in. I'm pretty fucked note-wise in the sense that I don't need to guess when playing an instrument; if I'm pressing the keys for a note, I will get that note in some degree. With my voice, I can't seem to figure out which key is which.

Any techniques for breathing in particular? It would be nice if I could play more continuous measures (which is physical achievable with more practice, I suppose).

Oh, I guess, I should brush up my english.

I can say (it just depends on volume of your lungs, and more volume comes with more practice, they become a bit stretchy), you should try breathing in NOT with full breast, BUT with full breast+belly.
For beginners in singing (and I guess aerophone players too) it is recommended to strain their belly like they are going to get the punch in it. That's due to lungs are separated from stomach with diaphragm (which you will strain). And it makes more space for air (in usual life you don't use that space in lower part of lungs much).
Also, a very good thing to do - put your hands on sides (from the back) where you have kidneys (slightly above the waist) and try to breath to feel the actual push from that place (that means you are doing it properly). Even if you don't do it properly, keep straining (not too hard though), and eventually you will come using full space instead of JUST straining the diaphragm. Also, when releasing the breath, keep straining.

ive been drawing my whole life, ive only made two artworks i like

one of them was a grill sitting infront of me on the train, she wasnt particualarly attractive or well dressed, and the drawing wasnt particularly intricate either, but i just loved it. It was so perfect, the lines, the pencil shading, how the points met and how her face looked.

The second was a watercolour painting I did of flourecent waterfall.

I do breath with my diaphragm and all, seeing that's pretty much Breathing 101. My stomach is pretty hard from 'straining', as you put it.

An interesting tip I got, once, was to expire all the way (like empty your lungs) before inhaling. Not very effective if you have little time to breath, however.
