What are these sort of jackets called (Pullover rain jacket? Windbreaker?) and where can you get a more /fa/ version of them?

It's called an anorak, OP.
Land's End has a pretty decent one in a variety of colors for cheap.

>smallest size is a medium
>medium measure 47 1/2 inch chest

that has to be a typo. How can a 47 1/2" chest be a medium?

A.P.C. has (had?) a great selection a couple years back. Band of Outsiders has a pretty simple half-zip that I like a lot. Boast certainly must make one. I've always had a fondness for the vintages ones though.

Considering copping for running.
Could you give us some info on how rustle-y it is, how heavy it is, what the inside is like etc?

cheers

>> No.7789339

i saw a cool one poster here from a manchester (or was it leeds?) retailer before, anyone remember?

>> No.7789773

>>7789261
Sorry for late response.
Its very lightweight (but sturdy), & the rustling is pretty much what you expect from a waterproof jacket, so its neutral I guess.
The jacket has a small non-adjustable ventilation pocket on its back for any air that enters your jacket. The back opening has a thin yet sturdy fabric in between it also, so its breathable.
Has cords on the hood & hip area of the jacket to adjust.
Velcro straps on the cuffs as well.
Its great as a weather proof jacket, can stand 5,000mm of water pressure.
Lastly, the jacket runs a bit big, so id consider sizing down if youre only planning on wearing a t-shirt underneath.
Hope that helps.

LL Bean makes one that folds up into itself for packing, and that alone makes up for the inevitable bad fit of the jacket (for my needs). I'm gonna buy a medium in forest green once they get back in stock.

What's your height/weight? LL bean mediums are huuge no joke. I'm 6'0 and mediums from ll bean are tent-like on me. Length, width, sleeves, neck, are all like L or XL in most other brands
