yup... I bought 2 jackets(neither in the macro shot) last year. I knew they were shit quality, and would look like crap... But they were on final clearance, and got both for $30 total.

The first one(The jacked that looks like its got a vest underneith it, though its just a inner flap with another zipper) actually looked decent and fit better than i expected... But the fabric was hilariously bad, that if i bent my elbow at more than a 60 degree angle, the cloth would get really uncomfortably bunched up.
Also, after i put it through the washing machine(once) it turned into a ugly, pilled up mess.
2end one was just a fucking disaster in every way. They sent me the wrong color, the fabric looked like heavy sweater material but was actually thinner than a H&M tshirt, and the diagonal fabric stripes that made a V didnt meet at the right spot(across the zipper) so it looked like it was something a stressed out mother made, trying to copy the original image.

I also own a chinese softshell, which i'm actually really impressed with. Was $40, is modeled after a $400 american one, and after wearing it on the milder winter days, i can honestly say its better than the $180 columbia one i bought at cabelas. Fit isnt too great(It bows out at the stomach, as if they expected me to have a potbelly) but since i'm layering with a hoodie, its hardly noticeable.

The problem with these pictures never seems to be the style to me. The most marked difference between the mannequin photos and "reality" photos is that, where the mannequin has a perfect, slender, physique, the person is out of shape and where the clothes hug the form of the mannequin thus accentuating its shape, the clothes on the person hang far too lose suggesting that they should have purchased a smaller size. Am I wrong?
