Can I get some light outerwear help? I have a cotton bomber and a nylon harrington which are my main jackets, but the harrington doesn't fit too well and I'm kind of turned off to the style now. I really like the bomber and wear it more than any other jacket, but I need some variation. What are some other light jacket styles that are pretty versatile and don't have hoods?

Great question. It always depends on your location and weather.
I live in Florida and during the summer there's no way to wear anything heavier than a tshirt
when it's semi-chilly I have this dope lightly insulated Woolrich chore jacket.
Look into linen obviously. There's a couple light parkas I've seen without hoods (I have two and my Universal Works one has removable lining. Does have a hood though). Chore coats and perhaps blazers would be worth checking out

I live in CA so all I have a nylon winbreaker which is my rainwear, and these casual jackets for when it's night or breezy.
i read the sticky post on outerwear (http://tuxbell.com/fa/majortest/index.php?title=Outerwear)) and it's not too informative. nothing really comes close to how how versatile the ma1 is, which is why i wear it constantly, but at the same time i want to wear more than one jacket.

thanks for the inspo though, i should look into shirt jackets and the like. like a dark flannel-esque looking shirt might be cool, or maybe a slim m65 (oxymoron), but i dont wanna hop on that olive green trend right now.

think i'll look into varsities. If its simple i don't think they're 2trendy. they can have cool textures too. and they're pretty similar to bombers haha
