>Decide I wanna be more fashionable about 2 months ago

>bought a bunch or shirts and a jacket from shitty korean companies on amazon
>Wore some of them once, realized I look like a massive faggot
>Start actually reading /fa and mfa
> I wanna burn this shit, fuck me
> Wasted nearly $200 dollars

Anyways I decided to rebuild my wardrobe from the ground up, I feel it works much better that way. During my "I'll buy anything that looks good" phase I bought some CDBs, haven't worn them yet but I don't regret that purchase.

Thinking about buying some Common Projects Derby Shine, good start?

Also black jeans help, I have black 511's, they're okay but they attract so much dust. w2c good black jeans that aren't >$100. I can't afford Acne.

Also, wear to buy some decent button down shirts, solid colors?

I'm 20, college, in TX is that's relevant.

buy shit from uniqlo while you're in your learning phase

i wouldn't recommend spending a shitload on anything until you have a better feel for what does and doesn't work on you

as for black jeans, just dont live in a dirty shithole

Yeah the seem to have good basics, I'll get a few button ups and go from there.

>>7732277
Yeah, I work at the Mall actually, at A&F. I bought basic tees from H&M, and a hoodie. Their quality isn't that great, I haven't bought cardigans from them, thinking it won't be worth it. The GAP has good stuff, little more pricey, the have nice Chinos, I never wore chinos before and I don't know what kind of shoes would go well with them. I'll look into getting a pair. Never been to Forever 21, pass it everyday. Will check out what the have.

Forever 21 has absolutely abysmal quality.
Wear brown boots with khaki and Olive chinos. For now you shouldnt get more than those two colors.

Beeswax is better. Also those are kind of played out by /fa/ standards but in real life (the only place that matters) you'll be fine. If anything the Desert Malis are a better choice these days. Also I think you should spend a little less on shoes and maybe get a pair of raws like nudies (which are decent no matter what the retards on this board say. They arent as durable as the more expensive ones but it will only be known by you and honestly no price point will save your pants from acts of stupidity/sometimes shit happens). If you really care get some APC or Rogue Territory.

Can anyone really tell the difference between designer black jeans and cheaper ones? Idk maybe I'll invest more in jeans. Also I can't seem to find the CP derby shine, anyone know where I can buy them?

>> No.7732444

>>7732438
Not really. Its more for the fact that the expensive jeans will look better over time and will last longer. For example my black Levis turned a sort of pale grayish black after a month but my Rogue Territorys are 4 months in and are blacker than sin.

I'll suggest rogue territory. I got a pair of stealth sk's. Nice as fuck, durable as fuck. Good cut, room for my semi-muscular thighs. Haven't faded at all yet, but most people arent after that with black jeans. No elastane, prevents them from looking like leggings while increasing the crispness of stacks. Good jeans.

I think trunks is pretty damn entertaining myself, but I can tell why a lot of people dislike him

>shitposts 90% of the time and acts as an instigator for no apparent reason
>had some embarrassing moments early in his tripfag career (floral dress and damir diaper fit pics)
>buys second hand designer pieces for cheap and, according to some, throws them together with no real thought
>dismissive of other peoples opinions/ trunk's opinions = true facts, all differing opinions = 'you're fucking wrong'

Like I said, i find him entertaining and have liked a few of his fits, but i can see why others don't like him

>> No.7733980

For black jeans, I suggest NF super skinny power stretch actually. It's only around 100-140 depending where you find it online and maybe sale. It feels comfortable and looks good man. This is actually one of my favorite cops even more so than acne aces since I got it for only $89 during a sale
