I have these. I wore them to the pub for the first time. As I walked up a few steps (theres a small balcony type thing where i usually sit) holding a pint of Heineken the gap got caught at an awkward angle, I tripped and all my drink flew over some man andhis dinner. Not even jjoking.

How do people walk in shoes like this? I have a pair of Reebok Kamikaze II's and they have sort of a gap. Comfy but weird as shit, I love them. But that gap doesn't get anywhere near these or the Ricks.

-they fit like half a size small because the heel cushion is so dang fat, and the marshmallow soles are so wide that you have to make sure you don't walk with your legs too close together.
-it's actually pretty sucky trying to walk in them when laced like this, because it's loose and thus your ankle will move up and down against the cushion. my condolences to the runway and photo models. i laced them like normal shoes and now it feels a lot better.
-the split sole is pretty unnoticeable, walking/driving feels the same
