I think straight-fitted pants can look great, though with pants that have a wider hem-width I think inseam lenght is much more crucial.

Even bootcuts and flares can look good, but if they are just slightly too long they just swallow up whatever a person wears at their feets, which imo usually looks like shit.

That's why the tapered fit exists friendo. Wider in the thigh, narrowing down to the calf. I had the same problem, if I wore straitleg pants that fit around my thighs the calf would be ridiculously oversized.

Probably not an universal reason, and I'm not /fa/ at all (i'll get there, faggots), but I have a pretty decent body but fucked up legs. I have a nice ass, but wide hips because my knees point somewhat inwards. hahahahahaha.... laugh all you want. Straight, well fitted (never baggy!) pant legs show my ass and thighs while forgiving the whole hip-knee concern.

Check out the company Folk too, I have a pair of cords from them that are probably my best fitting trousers I own. I also have a few pairs from Gap and RL that are okay too, but I used to wear my EG and Folk cords religiously
