They combine good quality and construction with a reasonable price, and they constantly strive to be innovative in the largely stagnant niche of denim crafting, with weird shit from flannel lined to rainbow fade to stainless steel infused. Trunks hasn't even spent $6000 on his whole wardrobe let alone one outfit, he waits for sales and second hand deals and buys appropriately. There is nothing wrong with this and only matters to people who have some lingering sense of elitism because they wasted more money than necessary on markup.

I'll be the first to admit I didn't like trunks when I first came here. He was super confrontational and shitposted quite a bit (if memory serves me)

But then this forum started going downhill with trunks/poet/trip hate threads popping up several times a day and it got the point where even useful advice or commentary given by these people was put down in flames for no reason other than the fact that they weren't anonymous.

I've been around here for a long time and I've posted more fits than a large number of people combined, some of which were pure shit but steadily getting better, and I owe at least a little of that to advice I've received from people like trunks and poet. They don't deserve the overwhelming hate they get, especially not as of the last few months where it seems like trunks is continually going out of his way to offer advice or sensible conjecture.

Tangent aside, his fits aren't as bad as you make them out to be. They aren't always on point but he like the rest of us is young and allowed to make mistakes. I like the ann d knit/creeper fit. I liked the fit with the white buttondown with the interesting sleeve rolls.

Why you would go that far to post pure vitriol is beyond me, allowing some online persona to instil this level of bitterness in to you just makes it look like the rest of your life isn't decent enough to compensate.
