I am asking for two reasons:
1) my gf really likes designer items such as valentino, prada, balenciaga and so forth and would like to cop her shit for cheap w/o ebays 10% fee
2) I am interested in starting a business selling second hand womens wear stuff online, avoiding the ebay fee

Yeah.. I don't know that women would spend any time on a place like /fa/ except for the unique ones. My gf spends time on purseforum/youtube/ebay looking at fashion related stuff, so I am looking to tap into that demographic to start selling second hand stuff because I have a decent supplier.

The fee still impacts the buyer because they realize they have to pay a higher price on ebay on ebay rather than a pay pal transaction. I have a good supplier that I know personally who can hook me up with shit. He is located in a different country and I have got stuff from him (LV, Chanel, w/e) and have been flipping it for decent profit.

the problem with girls and fashion is that most look at it from a social aspect (as opposed to e.g. quality, functionality, style). the average mall-shopping girl is only into "fashion" by reading magazines and copying the "top 10 hottest celeb styles of the month" and they just do it to try to impress people and be better their friends. it's kind of meta, they try to get into ~fashion~ just to show that they know about ~fashion~

Ok, thanks man. I have never really looked into those sites. The reason I was thinking of making my own is because I have seen places like http://www.yoogiscloset.com/ selling second hand bags and do really well. Plus, that fee does add up when you are trying to sell a lot of stuff and make money.

This is not a very good idea. People on sufu, SZ, and all that will not be cheaper than ebay or rakuten. They want a premium 99% of the time. It's kind of why they sell there in the first place.

It's also a bad idea because you and your gf have horrible taste if the brands you listed and the pics in this thread are any indication.
