Nah, that's not true. Someone would post advice based on an arbitrary rule; then some would come along and give a more specific situational answer. And then there were people with specific and detailed knowledge only in certain areas.

Gothninja has always been around, it's just always been a small proportion of the total population (and now that the population is bigger, it seems more relevant.) The streetwear trend is more recent to /fa/ than goof.

The most entertaining part of early /fa/ was tripfag drama, but with each successive generation of tripfags, the novelty wears off and you realize most of them are pathetic.

I remember that asian kid that posted in every wdywt thread, back when /fa/ was all dadcore. He had this awful haircut and tried styling his hair with pomade, tried dressing all dadcore, but I guess didn't have the money for it, so he wore his nike blazers or smth like that a lot. God, time flies by too fast, I can't even count how many years I've spent here and it seems like I just started lurking yesterday.

My only claim to fame on /fa/ was an archived thread posted by bateman in 2010 about /fa/ comics where I posted about half of the pictures. The entire time I've posted on this site it was only ever to say how things used to be.
