To answer your question, you definitely get what you pay for. The guy from the video you suggested definitely has the same type of hair as you do, you can use the products that they used in that video. It's called By Vilain Gold Digger wax. Any hairspray would be a step up from target. However, keep in mind that the most expensive hairspray is a bad deal and the cheapest hairspray is a bad deal. Get the bottle of hairspray that costs a dollar more than the target bottle, and see if you like it. If not, go up another dollar. Eventually, you'll find one you like. This is cheaper in the long run than buying one $60 can of hairspray and having it not work correctly for you.

I think there are certain low shoes that work well with drop crotch silhouettes, but I agree that the sweat material can be harder to pair with things outside of sneakers/boots. The casual fabric kind of needs something a little more substantial to work against it.

Depends on the shirt and the sweatshirt. A lot of times, the ribbed hem will pull the shirt hem into a flared, peplum-y thing which can be cool if you do it right. If you're not sure, it's probably just easier to tuck until you find the right combination that works.

A business or accounting background is very helpful for positions involving merchandise planning/buying given that you work with a lot of numbers, but by no means is it necessary. I had a healthy math background throughout most of my schooling (excepting university), so I'm fine with most of the math that I have to do (which is really just Excel stuff).

Most of what I've learned has been through just working; gaining experiencing, asking questions when I didn't know the answer, figuring things out on my own if necessary, and just marshaling all my knowledge together. I received a lucky break and was just an assistant when I was sent to cover an entire trade event by myself (which isn't a big deal now, but then was huge for me) and that was a pretty eye-opening experience.

After that, it's just been plugging away at work.

I think I've found the right pair of jeans but the leg opening is a bit too tight : having tried one size higher than the one I want to buy (because they were out of stock on the right size), I know the opening is going to be quite small.

Are there any tricks to put such jeans on ? If I cuff the legs enough would it be easier to put them on and then "unroll" the lower leg once I've pulled them up ?
I've had experiences of trying on jeans were the leg opening was too narrow and it was a bitch to put on, and especially take of, not to mention it didnt even look that great
